And have a joyous New Year!

From the mouth of Babes

Each preschool day we take the first 15 - 20 minutes to review our ABC flashcards. It has become my mission in life to come up with new and inventive ways to help our little class learn all of their letters. Today, something quite peculiar happened..as we were racing to see who could get the letter first, a little voice from the back of the room appeared. The little voice was the first to get each letter. At first the older kids were shocked that someone else was answering, but then when they realized it was Jude (who just turned 2) they were fascinated. He has been quietly watching and finally decided to make his move and shock the socks off all of us.

Old McDonald had a farm....

This month in Preschool we are learning about farms. Thus far we have learned about Sunrise & Sunset, Pigs, Chickens, Tractors, Wheat, and Sheep. We have had a lot of fun learning & singing about the farm. A few reminders...please remember to work with your child on homework. Your child will get out of it what they put into it! We are keeping a homework book that we will send home at the end of the year, and some of the kids only have one or two things in their book. We would love to see them all over flowing. Also we will be closed on Thursday November 25th & Friday November 26th for Thanksgiving.

Here are some pics of the past couple of weeks...

Happy Birthday Noah!!!
